Imperialism Key Terms Quizlet
Students will be creating definitions and using them in sentences to help them remember key terms of imperialism. This is a great way for students to use interactive technology while creating valuable study tools for them to use throughout the unit.

Procedure:

Activity 1:

Share the Key Terms handout with students.

Once they have the list of key terms, they should log into their Quizlet account and create a new study set.

  • Students should create a flashcard for each of the key terms listed on the handout

  • Remind students that the definitions need to be in their own words!

 

 

Activity 2:

After students have created their study set in Quizlet, they can then use the definitions they have created to help write a sentence for each of the key terms

They should use the Key Terms handout to write their sentences and then share the document with the instructor.

 

 

Practice Activity:

Students can practice their study sets with a partner to review the key terms of imperialism.
